My studies
In 2003 I obtained a Master's degree in Applied Languages (English and German) at the University of Lorient.
During these four years at university I translated weekly English and German documents into French and French documents into English or German. These texts had various subjects as for example politics, environment, economy, history. They were extracts from newspaper or books. I also studied Economy, History and Geography in German and English languages, American and British Literature, Computer Science, Accounts.
My services
I work as a freelance translator at home, but I have an administrative employer: Synesia. This company takes care of signing the contract with you, but all the terms are directly negotiated with me.
The only requirement of Synesia is a total amount of invoice that reaches a minimum of 150.00 € excl. of tax.
My career
In 2004, I started to translate documents by working at Eurilogic Technologies. As well as at Studec in 2006 I was in charge of the translation of technical documentations about frigates.
In 2007, I was a trilingual receptionist at Papeteries de Mauduit, who manufactures cigarette paper. I understood that my real vocation was to become a translator.
That is why in December 2007 I started to work through Synesia. Since that, I have translated several documents; you will find hereafter the description of my various experiences.
