My studies
In 2003 I obtained a Master's degree in Applied Languages (English and German) at the University of Lorient.
During these four years at university I translated weekly English and German documents into French and French documents into English or German. These texts had various subjects as for example politics, environment, economy, history. They were extracts from newspaper or books. I also studied Economy, History and Geography in German and English languages, American and British Literature, Computer Science, Accounts.
My services
I am a freelance translator who translates English and German documents. I also do proofreading.
When I started this job, I worked through an umbrella company called Synesia. But since March 2009, I work as a freelance. My status is called "auto-entrepreneur" in France.
My career
In 2004, I started to translate documents by working at Eurilogic Technologies. As well as at Studec in 2006 I was in charge of the translation of technical documentations about frigates.
In 2007, I was a trilingual receptionist at Papeteries de Mauduit, who manufactures cigarette paper. I understood that my real vocation was to become a translator.
That is why in December 2007 I started to work with Synesia. Then in March 2009 I became a freelance. Since the beginning of my activity, I have translated several documents; you will find hereafter the description of my various experiences.
